He rose to power with promises of restoring Isarn's dilapidated infrastructure. His knack for focusing the ire of the Galtan's revolutionary fervor towards its neighbors has helped him maintain popularity. It's known among his opposition that he acts swiftly and brutally to maintain power, betraying the darker side beneath his public facade.
Korran Goss's half-elf vizier, credited for protecting Goss from numerous magical threats since his rise to power. She was awarded dominion over The Ward, the old Galtan Academy of the Arcane. She runs the school and studies all the knowledge that remains within its numerous libraries. There are rumors that she and Goss have become romantically involved over the past few years.
The Grey Gardeners's identities the most closely guarded secrets in Galt. Through they may vary in build or hair color, a Gardener's uniform is strictly regulated to maintain this level of secrecy. Only one Grey Gardener in the capitol is distinct from the rest: their captain, Le Moine d'Isarn. This imposing figure reports only to their order's commander in Litran.
Charming and friendly, Madame Lacroix is the head of the Court of Bees and head priestess of the House of Joy. She was famously a consort to the last Chelish Duke of Galt, but as the Red Revolution began, she stabbed him in his sleep. Madame Lacroix united the brothel owners and founded the Court of Bees. With each shift in power, the Court expanded their influence, creating La Lumière Rouge of today.
The head elder of Le Commune, Pierre is the head of the Erastilian faith in Isarn. A gentle patriarch to the members of Le Commune, he preaches the value of a hard day's work and the virtue of contributing to the whole. While he is famous for his kindness, there are stories of his obstinate defiance in the face of Revolutionary Councils that have tried to assert their will on the community.
Norman Jaubert is the most vocal of the religious leader in Isarn, leading the Cult of the Cleansing Sun, a radical Sarenite sect. He is an outspoken and ardent supporter of Korran Goss.
Seen as a community leader in the dwarven neighborhood of Nord Rivière, Father Faldan is the head priest of Torag's temple. He welcomes all followers of Torag, but has some reservations about the humans of Galt.
Perhaps the only friends outsider may find in Isarn, Hubert and Danielle operate the Inn of the Lost Wanderer. Known for their devotion to Desna, this couple helps outsider survive their visit to Isarn. Kind, but not fools by any means, they offer advice, a meal, and a place to sleep for a night. They advise travelers to make their way to their next destination sooner than later.
A fixture of Galtan politics since the First Revolutionary Council, this mysterious small figure is a source of many secrets. Wrapped head-to-toe in countless strips of greyscale cloth, completely covering any skin that supposedly lies underneath. Le Voile's identity is as well-hidden as the Gardeners'. An untrustworthy ally of many groups in Isarn, no one knows Le Voile's true motives.
