Here's what I learned about the World Wide Web:
The internet -> The roads. This is actual network of computers and devices that allow information to be shared and transmitted
World Wide Web -> The cars and destinations. Operates ON the internet, consisting of all the sites and web pages we use everyday.
A site I want to share:
One of my favorite websites on the World Wide Web is Cool Math Games. While it may seem like an unconventional choice, it was a huge part of my childhood and one of the websites I spent the most time exploring. What fascinated me most was how a single website could contain such an enormous collection of games. There always seemed to be something new to discover, whether it was a puzzle, strategy game, platformer, or logic challenge.
Looking back, I think Cool Math Games was one of the coolest websites of its time and helped set the stage for platforms like Roblox, where users can access a wide variety of games all in one place. Beyond entertainment, many of the games encouraged problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, making the experience both fun and educational. The site's URL is www.coolmathgames.com, where "www" stands for the World Wide Web, "coolmathgames" is the domain name, and ".com" indicates a commercial website.
