Our students recently had the opportunity to showcase their incredible Madhubani artwork at A/NT Gallery in Seattle for the 3rd time! From March 1st to March 28th, the gallery featured 40 stunning pieces created by young artists from Deepti Designs! The event began with a warm reception by our emcees Anvika Bheemarasetty and Anvi Babu, attended by special guests such as Dr. Thomas Grant Richardson, the State Folklorist of Washington, and Latha Sambamurthy, an advocate for the arts.
In addition to the artwork, the event included musical performances by students from Parivaadhini School of Music and Vidhya’s School of Music. These talented performers set the tone for the evening, adding depth and vibrancy to the celebration of Madhubani art.
The gallery was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who appreciate the beauty of spreading art, with many people outside of the studio giving their compliments and praise for the exhibit. We’re proud to have been a part of AN/T Gallery once again and hope to participate in them in the future!

March 8th is International Women's Day, a day many people spend celebrating the women who are important in their lives. One such annual celebration was hosted by Sahyadri Kannada Sangha in their annual Women’s Day Event. One of the many activities that they hosted at their celebration was a Madhubani workshop for making earrings and bookmarks.
It was run by volunteers from our art school: let’s give Aashi Sherigar, Mahathi Barrenkala, Shreaya Vinodshankar, Srinidhi Kodemala and Sumi Panchapagesan a big hand for running this successful workshop with over 100 attendees!
