Breaking news! Our very own Ms. Deepti Agrawal was selected to lead the City of Bothell's 4th of July Parade as Grand Marshal!
According to the City of Bothell, Ms. Agrawal was selected for her "contributions to community service, youth empowerment, artistic leadership, and humanitarian efforts," and for profoundly "transforming Bothell’s cultural landscape." We couldn't be more proud!
Ms. Agrawal would like to invite all studio students and their families to walk with her to open up the parade. The kids will get to hold their paintings, as well as wave both Indian and American flags in celebration.
For more information, please check Whatsapp for the link to join the specific parade group. Further information will be sent in that group as it is released! Do not pass up this opportunity to celebrate the 4th of July and represent Indian culture!

Our school is all set to run our stall at the annual Newcastle Arts Fair, happening on July 19th, from 10 AM - 5 PM at the Newcastle Commons (address and details in flyer on the left). This is our second time at this fair, where artists from the area come together to display and sell their creations.
Our volunteers will not only create a Madhubani art inventory to sell leading up to the event, but also sell it at the fair and display their own artwork for the public.
We’re excited to see our artists get real experience with marketing in a natural environment! We hope you will come and support our young artists and enjoy other stalls as well.

Attention, all artists who have completed their fish projects! We have been invited to participate in this great midsummer opportunity many times, but we need you and your art to keep making it happen!
The Bothell Art Walk is a series of art walks happening over March, May, July, August, and October, in downtown Bothell. Visitors can come and view local art from different vendors, exhibits, and businesses.
From our school, each artist can display two or three of their own Madhubani paintings and will aid in running a hands-on activity for visitors on July 10th from 5-8 PM.
Don’t turn down this opportunity to showcase your hard work on your Madhubani projects! We need three or four volunteers, so make sure to reserve yours quickly by reaching out to Ms. Nikita as soon as possible.
