Northwest Folklife and the City of Bothell are coming together to host their annual Summer Nights community event. This year, the event will be on August 17th from 1-8 PM at Bothell Landing. We have been invited to have a booth once again at the event, and need two more volunteers to join in!
You will get the opportunity to create Madhubani items to sell to the public, plus the option to speak for five minutes on stage about your artwork. This event is a fun way to earn PVSA hours, as well as gain marketing and public speaking experience!

Deepti Designs has been invited to a block party in Snoqualmie on September 7th, where youth artists will run a booth to exhibit and sell Madhubani art pieces. The Seattle Asian Art Museum is hosting a community art engagement program on October 5th, where families can take part in a hands-on traditional art project. The artwork created will be displayed at the Diwali event on November 9th, which Deepti Designs will also participate in. Get a head start on the celebrations by joining in and contributing to this meaningful project!
