Earlier this week saw an interesting clash go down in the ring. The calm, reserved, and demurely dressed Edith Una met eye to eye with the taller, bubblier, and more charismatic Jasmine C. Cake - a name befitting of her overall. Both confident, both delighted to be facing each other.

Looking back at old matches, one of the many that stood out this week was the AHAB sponsored, submissions-only match between the unstoppable force that is Ophelia Mast, and "The Masked Brit" Seras Ashton. At the time, Ophelia was brand new to the scene, and as such everyone was undoubtedly sure that Seras would easily take this victory. Even Seras herself was confident, and that was her downfall.
Not only did Mast surprise everyone with her sudden, nigh supernatural entrance, getting in an unnecessary cheap shot on Ashton, she brutalized the Brit beyond the point of unconsciousness, leaving even the ref stunned at the one-sided beatdown. The Maiden of Death, a title definitely earned after this match, then took it further and unmasked her unconscious opponent before letting go. As she exited, EMS rushed in to treat the unfortunate loser of the match.

This last week saw former Leviathan Inc. elite, Mizuko Kajiwara, make a debut back in the indie circuit. It was here that she faced Kimiko "Star Power" Nagasawa, who even dressed in her classic superhero themed attire, from her old rookie days.
Many were hopeful that the wrestler formerly codenamed Koi Fish would be humbled by her disastrous exit from the Leviathan stage, stripped from her elite status and suspended from the brand as a whole.
Which is why Mizuko was met with mixed reactions when she entered the stage wearing her very own superhero attire, dubbing herself "Koi Power" as a clear mockery of her opponent, who she promptly defeated with ease.

Back then, a menace was born, a legacy begun, and noses aplenty ran red with blood at the sight they beheld. Black Swan was one of the earliest victims to Arianne Luppen, the Master Panty Thief herself, and her signature move: the Panty Puller Piledriver. Still, better than being unmasked, a luchadora's shame.

Over at Lucha Inframundo, a rematch took place earlier last week between the Big Peach - aka Hana Muramoto - and Hi-Energy.
By the end, Hi-Energy had been brutally beaten, especially below the belt, in some creative ways. The match should have been over, but Hana wasn't going to stop until the jobber said exactly what she wanted to hear. Once that was done, Muramoto did as requested and put the poor girl out of her misery.
