Welcome truth seekers and ring enjoyers alike. This is NOT Tales from the Bottom Rope. Tonight instead, I come to you as this month's host for The Midnight Talk! the interview talk show where we sit down one on one with one special wrestler in the community.
For this month's special interview, we were approached for a change, and I was specifically requested as the one asking the questions. We are unsure as to why this is the case, but we hope that tonight we will be given the answers for this and more.
Ladies, gentlemen, and those who identify otherwise, introducing my guest for tonight, the youngest prodigy of the Tao estate: Ying Tao!
Hello Miss Tao, thank you for coming. How are you?
Absolutely divine, but then again when am I not?
Everyone in the office is wondering. Why’d you ask for us to interview you? And why me specifically for that matter?
To be frank: I was feeling both generous and merciful. I've seen so many news outlets practically go to war with one another for a chance to have me even *glance* at them. And as entertaining as that can be, it pained me to imagine the Gazette crumbling apart trying to gain an opportunity to meet with me. Specifically after I laid my eyes on *you* in particular Rivera. Hence why you've been given this heavenly opportunity.
Is that so? What is it that made me so special? Was it something about the articles I’ve written for the Gazette so far?
Oh you couldn’t begin to fathom the intricacies of how you caught the eye of this goddess…ufufufu! Oh relax I’m just messing with you! Tales from the Bottom Rope have been absolutely fascinating reads and if anybody here were to interview yours truly, I’d rather it be the genius behind those!
Oh! Thank you Miss Tao! It means a lot coming from you. I actually had fun looking into them. B-but anyway! Outside of wrestling, what do you do?
Ufufufu, oh not much. Just running the various Obelisx museums around the world and providing each and every one of them with art that has garnered me labels such as "The Avant-garde Amazon", "The Second Renaissance", "the greatest artist of our generation". I suppose you could say I doodle on occasion.
Right! I’ve seen some of your work before. Is there a favorite piece of yours? Something that you would consider so far to be as close to your Magnum Opus as possible?
Ooooooooh that one in particular isn’t available to the public JUST yet. Trust me though, It will be more than worth the wait…
I’ll keep an eye out for when it is! But, with your monumental success as an artist, as well as your many connections as a member of the Tao family, that does beg the question, what caught your interest about wrestling?
If you asked me that a few years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to answer. I only started wrestling because the ideal canvases I craved tended to gather in the squared circle. Otherwise I had no love for the sport. At least until I met somebody very, very dear to me…
Oh really? We might loop back to that. But first, do you have a favorite match of yours?
There have been so many highlights, but none as special as my first match against the very embodiment of lust herself. Ahhh, my sweet, immaculate Lustrious, I can’t imagine my life without her! And our match…it was a fateful crossing of two peerless minds! I’d never been so invigorated before, finally going toe to toe with somebody who truly understands my brilliance and divinity! Oops! I get a little caught up whenever I think back to it. Point is, Lustrious provided a match I could never forget, and actually motivated me to start training to ensure I could always live up to her expectations whenever we got in the ring again!
