Unbalanced migration, its effects, and solutions in Nepal

Kathmandu, September 7
LP-1 ended their GSL and moderated caucus on the second day of the final mun session. Legislative parliament: I passed its resolution on the topic of unbalanced migration with 23 votes and its competing resolution, got the rest of the votes.
The delegates of Gagan Kumar Thapa, Ishwor Pokharel, Matrika Prasad Yadav, Shashank Koirala, Padmakumari Aryal, and Janardan Sharma sponsored the resolution. The resolution passed with two-thirds of the majority of the delegates of LP-1.
"Isn’t the lack of facilities the reason for migration? The students of Nepal are going abroad for studies, so this motion proves that there is a lack of education and facilities," the delegate of Mohammad Istyak Rai said.
Taking such issues into consideration, the committee started their unmoderated caucus and managed to select a resolution. Resolution 2.0: unbalanced migration was the final resolution
"The delegates did their best to find a proper solution to the problems presented during the session," the dias panel told the press team.
The resolution’s pre-ambulatory clauses approved employment programs for people all across the country by establishing 17000 organizations, considered the plan to increase the percentage of students in high school up to a hundred percent, and managed to take out nine hundred thousand people from absolute poverty.
"The government can conduct different employment programs, provide facilities related to health care, sanitation, safe drinking water, transportation, and electricity to rural as well as urban areas." Prem Suwal said.
The resolution’s operative clauses call upon us to promote stability, education, and employment opportunity and reduce the drivers of migration; provide educational loans without a mortgage; and manage past flaws and mistakes to improve and enhance the quality of society.
The resolution was the last event of the formal session of TES MUN 2022 for the committee LP-1. The committee then moved on to the motion of the point of entertainment, which was the end of the final session before the closing ceremony.
