Legislative Parliament - 1
Legislative Parliament - 1
Dear delegates,
Hello, I'm your chair for TESMUN 2022 in LP-I. As you delegates know, MUN is a platform to engage yourselves in various interactive activities and present your views on the topic you are given. This is a platform where you all work in cooperation and harmony with each other. It is also a platform where you all argue with each other and decide what's the right solution as a group.
You all need to build your confidence and polish your skills as much as you can. MUN is not a responsibility for you all but an opportunity. An opportunity in a way that can help you learn and build your skills. If you all do well in this MUN, not only can it be a wonderful fun experience for you but also a foundation for achieving your future goals. No matter where you go, you will always require good speaking, arguing, counter-arguing, and research skills. MUN is where you can develop, practice, and implement these skills. Delegates have to research on the topics that are assigned and present their research in a civilized manner.
In this Legislative Parliament - I, we will be talking about various topics related to economic, social, and environmental issues of Nepal. You, the delegates are the ones who will be representing our country’s leaders and presenting your views. Maybe, this will help you become a future leader and lead our country to achieve greater heights.
As all of you in LP-I are new to MUN and its procedure, we will be guiding you through every step.
Wish you all the very best!
Dear delegates,
As we all know, Nepal is a nation with a lot of potential and the capacity to develop and explore the potential of its abundant resources. But why is Nepal still referred to as an undeveloped nation? What is the main rationale for calling Nepal underdeveloped? Here, we will talk about the main justification behind the label "underdeveloped state" given to Nepal. We pose issues and move toward addressing them.
As representatives of the legislative branch of the government, you are all required to weigh your options for combatting corruption and eliminating it from both the public and private sectors. MUN is a forum for showcasing your abilities to a large audience. You may hone your speaking and even listening abilities by participating in MUN. It is beneficial to hear other people's viewpoints and attempt to debate them. It also improves your capacity for research. These abilities serve you not only in the sessions but also in the future. The Dias panel accordingly hopes that the delegates do their best to impress and inspire them. The Dias panel is counting on the delegates to conduct solid research, and they are hoping for the best. As the committee's vice chair, I will be assisting each and every delegate with their duties. The Dias panel will continue to focus on the delegates' successful outcomes. The delegates, on the other hand, must cooperate with the committee and pay attention to its instructions.
The Dias panel wishes the delegates well and hopes they will do everything in their power to ensure the success of the committee.
Dear delegates,
After two years of the pandemic, we were finally able to conduct TESMUN physically this year so that all the delegates can participate and learn something new. MUN is a platform to practice something extra. This is totally new for you so participate , enjoy and learn something new from it. If there will be problems or you get stuck in any thing, feel free to share with the Dias panel and the Dias panel will guide you. Don't forget that, confidence comes not from always being right but also from not fearing to be wrong.
