Question of the Day:
What learning experience do you get or see in MUN?
Ram Basnet (Managing Director)
I see a lot of learning experience in MUN. Being a very good speaker, expressing ourselves, and communicating with others. We all find it difficult to speak in front of others, it's a natural thing. But MUN helps all of us in the long run to face this difficulty.
What is your favourite committee so far, and why?
Shrawan Ghale (Press Head)
HRC, Because it gives an opportunity for underprivileged people who’ve had their basic rights taken away to get recognition and a platform where such issues are raised.
Anup Bhatta (Digital Uploader)
UNEP, because the committee is debating about global warming and its management.
Aryana Ranjeet (Interviewer)
Ecosoc, because it works on the economic condition of the planet and effects different countries.
Krishi Acharya (Logistics)
Disec, because the dais are giving examples to solve the confusions that delegates have and along with that delegates are actively participating.
Ichaya Lama (Logistics)
LP3, because the dias member are properly interacting with the delegates and delegates are alsop actively participating
Shrijan KC (IT Head)
LP3, as they have been talking about national politics in ways which are very interesting.
What is your favourite part in MUN?
Manaswi Pant (Secretary General)
Seeing the delegates working with each other and participation of everyone is my favorite part in MUN.
Deepa Ghimire (IT Coordinator)
Working with kids, designing photos, making videos and all the technological aspects of this program is my favorite part in this program.
Bhakti Shrestha
(10th Grade Optional Math Teacher)
Students are learning how to give time for their research work, watching them improve, bring their theoretical knowledge into practical form and being a part of this program is my favorite part of this program.
Dipendra Silwal (Press Coordinator)
There are people who have been doing their jobs in their assigned role. It’s a practical way of learning things that is learned by doing. And in my opinion learning by doing is the best way to learn. This was my favorite part.
Sakushal Pandey (Photo Editor)
Debating part is my favorite. The reason for that is it improves speaking ability, expressing ourselves and communication which is quite essential for us.
What do you think should be done to make the MUN program run smoothly?
Avinav Dhakal
(Chief Reporter of LP-2)
I think that all the delegates must prepare their GSL and engage with great enthusiasm and plenty of research.
Shrawan Ghale
(Press Head/Chief Editor)
Full dedication from the delegates and dias panel is necessary. All the participants need to know their responsibilities and fulfill their role. They need to do a lot of research and create a better environment to work.
Binayak Dhakal
(Chief Reporter of LP-2)
The delegates should be more focused towards their role, participation should increase and the management should be one step ahead of everyone.
Pratik Lama Singtan
(Chief Reporter of HRC)
In my perspective the delegates are passive and the committee is kind of inactive. Thus, I believe that level of understanding and research on topic/agenda must be ample for both delegates and the dias panel.
