The DISEC committee's chair, Aayush Dhakal, escorted the delegates to the committee hall following the conclusion of the grand opening ceremony.
The proposal to start the GSL was raised by the Qatari delegate, and the USA, Ukraine, and Qatari representatives each presented their separate GSL.
The committee chair, Aayush Dhakal, said, "Let the past be left in the past, let's work on how we could uplift and change our common future.”
Large numbers of questions were raised during the GSL against the American representative, which gradually shifted to the representatives of Russia and Germany, with the representatives of Palestine, the United Kingdom, and China being the main participants.
The vice-chair of the committee Aryan Thapa stated, "The delegates have done a good job in researching about their particular countries as well as their opposing countries."
The GSL's allotted time ended, and the delegate of South Africa elongated the time by 20 minutes.
“The committee is running smoothly as expected!” exclaimed the invigilator of the committee Bidur Raj Lamichhane with joy.
