World War 3 on DISEC

The second day’s second session of MUN 2025 in DISEC was conducted with passionate debates and speeches presented by different delegates of grade 9. The delegate of Israel first raised a motion to start  GSL on the topic “Proliferation of hypersonic weapons and its impact on global security” after which’s completion, a crisis arose where the country Russia and China was bombed, causing 500 Russian and 1000 Chinese casualties.

The committee formally began as the delegate of Israel(Timothy Rajiv Kandel)raised a motion 

to start the GSL on the topic of Proliferation of hypersonic weapons and its impact on global security. “Hypersonic weapons should be used for protection rather than war,”  stated a delegate of Saudi Arabia(Pratyush Jung Rayamajhi). Following, different delegates came forward claiming to support global efforts like transparency, peace, and international discussions. “DPRK previously explained how hypersonic weapons were for safety; however, DPRK has not been harmed since 1915.”, stated the delegate of Ukraine as his points were noted. To this, the delegate of DPRK replied in cheats of how it is making defensive updates in a world where superior countries threaten other countries.

Shortly after, a crisis emerged in the committee where the countries Russia and China were bombed with hypersonic missiles, causing 500 Russian and 1000 Chinese casualties. USA being the main suspect, the president of China(Binayak Babu Rana) declared war on the country USA and even suspended the delegate of USA(Aakarshi Paudel) from the committee. The president of the USA then claimed to be falsely accused and declared war on China.

On the second update of the crisis, China and Russia(Diya Shrestha) launched missiles, causing heavy damage to Japan and the East China Sea. Soon, all the countries in the committee started pointing fingers at each other, causing chaos inside the committee. The countries like Belarus and Iran supported the USA, and the countries such as DPRK, Pakistan, and Russia were supporting China, even to launch a full-scale war on the opposition. In the moment of chaos, Pakistan also decided to declare war on India.

Then the delegate of Nepal(Sushan Shrestha) came forward as he spoke representing concerns of small nations on side lines and asked to cease the war.” world is not for war but for peace” stated the delegate of Lebanon (Swastik Manandhar)as he requested to end the war, likewise other nations such as Palestine, Germany, Iran, Israel, Japan stated their views on why the war should stop. Following the country, China also explained its desire to stop the war but demanded compensation and support for the recovery of the affected areas. The delegate of the USA then apologized to the delegates of  Russia, China, and other countries wanting to support the global peace treaty. The USA also decided to donate 1 billion dollars to the countries of China and Russia, stating its desire to make the world a better place. Later, the countries Pakistan and India decided to resolve their issues, and all the countries in the committee decided to stop World War-3 agreeing to the peace treaty.

 This way, the committee DISEC ran smoothly with active and engaging debates of the delegates, showing progressive hopes for the future.
