Greetings, Delegates
Greetings from Legislature Parliament II
Model United Nations is a platform for people to develop their skills and their ideologies through debate that each of them will adopt as a primary driving force to lead them into a successful and adept future. Hence, I am honored to serve as the chair of the Legislative Parliament-II committee in 2025.
As we embark on this diplomatic adventure, I encourage you to embrace the core values of negotiation, compromise, and teamwork. As delegates, you play an important role in reflecting your respective parties' different opinions and interests. This committee is modeled after the House of Representatives of Nepal's Federal Parliament, where national concerns are debated, resolutions are drafted, and constructive change is sought.
Throughout our discussion, I encourage you to participate with zeal and intellectual curiosity. Express your ideas clearly, question assumptions, and seek common ground with our fellow delegates. Remember that the solutions we seek are the result of collaborative work and inventive thought, not the sole responsibility of an individual.
Let your words be your most valuable tool. Promote understanding, promote diplomacy, and advocate for solutions that reflect the best interests of your parties. Use this platform as an opportunity to learn something new. Thank you.
Best Wishes!
Chair

"One word is enough to change someone’s life. Be that word." — Kaori Miyazono, Your Lie in April
From today every time you step foot on the premises of Legislature Parliament 2 you won't be referred to by your name, you will be referred to by your position, delegation, you have been assigned. I am enlightened, delegated to stand in front of you all as your Vice chair throughout this MUN session. During my previous experiences in MUNs I too was a delegate like you all nervous and anxious. But now I stand in front of you to guide you all throughout this MUN session.
"Tackling the Youth Unemployment Crisis Through National Skill Development and Mobilization," A topic that has been haunting us the people of Nepal for many years, without any point of stopping or slowing down. About 3000 Youths Leave to seek better education or go to different countries for numerous reasons. What may be the cause of this ? , why is it happening so rapidly ? What has your delegation done for this topic ? and what have others done or not ? It's your job to find out. As you get ready, I would very strongly suggest that you study Nepal's existing systems in tremendous detail—particularly schemes such as the Prime Minister Employment Program and the role of institutions such as CTEVT. You must understand how these schemes can be improved to best place young people's skills in the development agenda for the country. Study the innovative models in other nations that can be used in our case, and review the shortcomings of past programs with a view to determining the reasons why they failed to perform as anticipated.
Keep in mind the structure and mandate of the Legislature Parliament while formulating your suggestions. Your suggestions ought to be realistic and suitable for Nepal's current social and economic realities.
Efficient time management will be critical in our session. Due to our packed agenda for the day, organizational ability and respect for time will make sure that our discussion is productive and solution-focused. I hope that each participant would present well-thought-out opinions and new suggestions. Let us strive towards an interesting discussion that is also respectful, thought-provoking, and result-driven.

Fellow Delegates!
“Raise your voice, not just to be heard but to make a difference.”
Before you take any action, I ask that you bear this in mind. In this world, everyone has a purpose. You might find out quickly if you advocate for yourself. Our school established this MUN program for the same purpose.
Hi there, I'm Aayushma Lama, the moderator of the 2082 legislative parliament's II committee. All of you are welcome here! Additionally, I am very eager to hear all of the opinions and ideas that will be shared within our committee. The year before, I served as a delegate as well. I felt anxious and frightened. I was afraid despite the fact that I wanted to raise my placard high. However, determination was the one thing that kept me moving forward.
It is a privilege to address all of you brilliant minds. I hope the delegates will find the opportunity to express their opinions, thoughts, and raise their voices in a manner that benefits our committee and the nation.
As we commence this journey ahead, I, the Moderator, would like to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you delegates.
Best of luck !
