“The Best Leaders aren’t those who shout, but those who help others speak”
Welcome to this ECOSOC session! As we address some of the most important problems confronting our world today, I am thrilled to witness your passion and commitment. This session's agenda is both difficult and important: Preserving Indigenous Cultures for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Development to bridge economic disparities, Exploring Innovative Financing Mechanisms to Bridge the SDG Funding Gap and Financing Sustainable Development and Addressing Debt Challenges in an Evolving Global Economy
These subjects require a thorough examination of the past, a keen assessment of modern problems, and creative problem-solving for the future. The study guide will serve as your road map to understanding these complex topics; therefore, I urge everyone to go over it carefully.
Time management will be crucial as we go through these conversations. Your ability to remain organized and focused will be crucial as we have a lot to discuss. In addition to being interesting, I anticipate that our discussions will be ambitious. Your answers should be creative, and your reasons should be carefully examined.
Keep in mind that it is crucial to have a broad understanding of current events, resolutions, and previous treaties. You can participate in the debates with confidence and effectiveness if you are well prepared. I am optimistic that we can make significant progress together, and I have high hopes for this session. Best of luck to you all !

“The art of diplomacy is not about speaking louder, it's about listening deeper.”
A warm welcome to the Economic and Social Council!
Welcome to the Economic and Social Council at this year’s Model United Nations. I am truly honored to serve as your Vice-Chair and be part of what I know will be a powerful and engaging experience for all of us.
ECOSOC plays a crucial role in addressing global issues that impact millions—poverty, sustainable development, social justice, and economic equality. In this committee, your ideas, diplomacy, and collaboration will shape not just resolutions but also new perspectives. Remember, you are not just representing nations; you are advocating for real people, real problems, and real change. Whether this is your first MUN or you are a returning delegate, I encourage you to participate fearlessly. Speak up, listen actively, and debate respectfully. It’s okay to be nervous, growth often begins at the edge of your comfort zone. I assure you that the dais is here to support and guide you throughout the session. My biggest hope is that this conference runs smoothly, and each of you walks away not just with awards or recognition, but with confidence, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of global affairs.
Let us commit to making this ECOSOC committee a space filled with constructive dialogue, mutual respect, and innovative ideas. As we begin this journey together, keep this in mind:
“Great leaders don’t set out to be leaders; they set out to make a difference.”
Let that be your motivation.
Wishing you all the very best. I look forward to seeing your diplomacy and passion shine through every speech and resolution.

“A leader is the one who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way”
I am privileged, excited, and happy to be your Moderator for MUN 2025! MUN is a platform where you raise your voice and speak up about the things you feel are right. With that motive, the dais panel as well as the social HOD, have gone through intense discussions about what delegation of countries to assign all of you. There's a reason why you all were assigned the delegation of your respective countries; the dais panel is confident that every one of the delegates can come out of their comfort zone and do things many world leaders can't even think to do in the modern era: solving disputes and focusing on a resolution.
As the representative of different countries, you hold the power to take the initiative and discuss within your committee to solve the major problems. You all will be assigned to various delegations of various countries in the committee, where you will discuss and debate about the leading economic crisis and social problems. During these 3 sessions of MUN, you all will be marked for various things, so extensive research from authentic sites is mandatory for the best outcome. Being informed about the global news, being confident, focusing on clarity, and getting points from authentic sites can lead you on the right track towards the start and the end of MUN.
Every one of you plays an important role in the committee. With that mindset, the dais panel sincerely hopes that you will find your voice and stand true to what you believe and what you feel resonates with you. The passion you have towards MUN will be showcased in the 3 sessions, so I hope you all learn and grow along with us in the wonders of MUN and what it has to offer. Your contributions are essential to the smooth flow of the committee and the success of our agenda. If any questions arise or if you seek further clarification on any points, please don't hesitate to speak up. This is a collaborative environment, and your inquiries will help foster a deeper understanding between the dais panel and the delegates and generate productive discussions and debates.
