The name literally translates to tiny dragon in the elven tongue. Although they are very small, similar in size to a bald-eagle they can still be very dangerous because they are able to lift and fly with animals that nearly triple their weight. These animals look like small, black, skinny dragons. Similar to a dragon, their bodies are covered in a protective layer of hard scales. Although they do not possess the ability to breath fire, their teeth and talons are extremely sharp and they also possess powerful tails. Unlike dragons, these creatures are not capable of intelligent thought. Their typical prey include small animals like rabbits, badgers, beavers, etc. However, they are capable of attacking larger creatures and will occasionally attack baby deer, cow, goats, and even dwarf children. They use a variety of different high-pitched screeches to communicate with each other, and can often be found flying in groups of three or four at a time. When in packs, they are able to work together to take down very large prey.
A very highly intelligent animal that looks very much like a small, skinny, cream-colored horse. These creatures are roughly the size of a zebra but are skinnier. They are much faster, stronger, and have far better endurance than regular horses. Elves have bred and raised these animals for intelligence and strength for thousands of years. Piersidrian are not fully sentient beings, but they do understand a wide variety of words and phrases in the elven language. A Piersidrian is given to every elf on their 35th birthday, the year they reach maturity, to raise as their own.
A tiny, but very durable creature that lives within the Nefera and Silvadrian forests. They are about the size of a large mouse, have extremely soft, fluffy fur, and can move extremely quickly. These creatures can be various shades of brown or green, with large, deep amber eyes. They are extremely friendly, but can send quite the current of white-hot electricity when threatened. They also have large, fur covered wings similar to butterfly wings, and a long bushy tail.
