Is a situation getting heated between your's and another's characters? Do you think an altercation will end in blows?
There are two ways that users can go about getting ready for a battle in roleplay. This information is relevant for battles regardless of if they use body parts, weapons, or magical methods.
The first method that users can choose for battles is to plan out the outcome of the battle beforehand together in the roleplay planning channel. This is a good option for those of you who know that they want their characters to get pretty beat up at the end of a battle. You go into it knowing your character is going to win or lose, and the other user is fine with that as well. These types of battles do not need to be moderated by a Council member. Remember, these battles must be fully planned out ahead of time so that neither user is blindsided by serious injuries to their characters.
The next method that users can choose for battles is to have a Council member moderate the battle during roleplay. Users should choose this situation if they are not sure how a battle would end between their characters or they are okay with being surprised by the outcome. Don't worry, a council member will never kill any of your characters unless you've expressed that you are okay with that ahead of time. For this type of battle, a Council member will be present during a roleplay battle, posting after each character to declare whether or not the attempted moves land. At the end of the battle, they will also choose the overall winner, and declare the characters that have either died or are too injured to continue battling and must surrender. Council uses a variety of methods to determine whether or not blows land and which characters win the battle.
