Failing to adhere to the following set of rules will result in punishments ranging from simple warnings to mutes and bans depending on the severity and number of infractions. Please make sure you've read and understood them before participating in the server further.
Literacy. Terapersü is a paragraph and novella roleplay server only. You should strive to create substantial roleplay posts that are easy for your partner to respond to. Each of your posts should consist of at least 250 words each. Sentence and single line roleplay posts will result in warnings and mutes. The only exception to post length is during battles. Battle posts must be at least 20 words each. Please also do your best to use proper grammar in your posts. It can be helpful to first write your post in a word document and then copy and paste to the channel so that it can be edited easily. Typos are inevitable and we expect them to show up in your post on occasion. Don't worry, we aren't grammar-Nazis!
Activity. Please, never disappear without letting council and the people you have been roleplaying with know that you will be gone. Try not to take a hiatus in the middle of a roleplay exchange, leaving your partners to make up an excuse for your absence in order to continue. You should try to be online at least twice per week to reply to your roleplay partners to keep the story moving along smoothly. This does not mean that you need to constantly be here to roleplay. We understand that life happens and you may need to take a break. Please let a council member know before you leave.
Godmodding/Metagaming. You will not be allowed to kill another member's character without their permission. Your character should not be able to block all spells directed at them, or parry every jab. You will not be able to make another member's character say something or do anything without the other member's permission. Your character cannot use information that you know but your character is supposed to be oblivious to.
Perspective. All roleplay posts must be written in the third person. No exceptions.
Inactive Characters. Please make sure that you have the time to commit to all of your characters. There is no character limit here, but you need to be active with all of them. If one of your characters has been inactive for a full month, they will be removed from the characters list and moved to retired characters. You will need to contact a council member in order to unlock them and gain the ability to roleplay with them again.
Respect. So much can be included in this one little rule. It is likely the most important rule that we have in the server. Treat other members the way that you'd like to be treated. If you have a problem with another member of the server, do not confront them directly. Bring your situation to a council member so that it can be dealt with fairly.
Discrimination. Discrimination against any groups of people will never be tolerated. This includes the use of racial slurs even if they are not directed at another member of the server. This will result in an automatic permanent ban, so just don't do it!
NSFW. For the most part, NSFW content is strictly prohibited within the server. For those who would like to roleplay with adult content, there is a channel available to those who are 18 or over. Any sort of roleplay above PG-13, including excessive violence, should be limited to that channel.
Keep Posts in their Channel. Pay attention to what kinds of content should be posted to each channel. Memes should not be posted in the chat channel, wanted ads should not be posted in the character application channel, etc.
Speak English. The occasional greeting in another language is okay, but everyone needs to be able to understand everyone here. Do not use the Elven Language in the chatting board unless you translate it, please.
Server Complaints. Please do not post any complaints and grievances that you have with the server in the chat channel, or anywhere else. There is a form for that, and I promise we will take all of your concerns seriously.
SPAM. Don't do it. Seriously.
Do Not Argue with Mods. If you have a problem with the way a mod has handled your case, submit a complaint form. That's why its there. The owner of the server will look at all of them personally.
Pinging. Do not ping someone over and over again if they haven't replied right away. Give them at least 15 minutes, and only ping once. Then you must wait 24 hours for each subsequent ping. Pings should only be done in the Roleplay Planning channel.
