Elise Allen is a second-year undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is passionate about advancing equity and inclusivity in psychological research. Her research interests span several interdisciplinary areas, including the development of sexuality, the influence of language on perceptions of gender and sexuality, and the ways in which emotion shapes communication and language processing. Additionally, she is interested in understanding how sexuality, gender, and race intersect to influence language comprehension and speech processing.
