Daniel Braun, M.Ed.

Daniel received his B.S. in Psychology and his B.A. in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati in 2012, graduating Summa Cum Laude with honors in both degrees. As an undergraduate, he worked as a research assistant in Dr. Sarah Whitton’s Today’s Couples and Families lab. Among his roles in the lab, Daniel assisted in the development of a system for coding same-sex couples’ communication behaviors during videotaped interaction tasks. His interests in improving the understanding of how those in marginalized populations fare on a variety of factors led to an honors thesis focusing on race-ethnic distinctions in same-sex relationship quality. In 2014, after turning his focus to foreign language education, Daniel earned a Master of Education degree through UC in Literacy and Second Language Studies with a focus on Adult/International TESL. Daniel now divides his time between his real estate business and running a Spanish tutoring company he started in Cincinnati called Coffee Shop Spanish.
