Tanjung Bira Beach is located in Bont Bahari, a sub-district of South Sulawesi, 40 km from Bulukumba city and 200 km from Makassar city. This beach offers fresh, clear sea water with white sand. Visitors can stay in a variety of comfortable accommodations to support their vacation enjoyment.

Exotic Sealife 🌊

The clear blue shore has a variety of underwater creatures. Tuna and jellyfish swim freely in the shallows. Visitors usually go to Tanjung Bira Main Beach, Liu Kang Loe Island, or Kambing Island. Three options, one choice. Or maybe all of them? I personally had a great vacation at Main Beach and Liu Kang Loe Island. We snorkeled to see the beautiful and peaceful life below sea level.

Liu Kang Loe Island 🏝️

Liukang Loe Beach is a small island located not far from the mainland of Sulawesi and is located right in front of Bira Beach, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. To reach it, visitors can go to the white sand beach at Tanjung Bira first, then rent a fishing boat or rent a speed boat. In just 15-20 minutes, visitors can enjoy the quiet and beautiful Liukang Loe island.

On Liukang Loe Island, tourists can not only enjoy the exotic coral reefs but can also enjoy a variety of culinary delights and buy souvenirs typical of the Liukang Loe community in the form of Bangkuru Bira woven sarongs, Bulukumba. In the west of the island is a settlement of people who live in that place. Tourists who come to this island come from several European countries, such as Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the rest are local tourists.

Visiting Liu Kang Loe Island in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi is the right choice for you lovers and connoisseurs of the beauty of exotic beaches, sea and underwater world.

Kambing Island 🏝️

This island is really special, besides the beautiful underwater scenery, the steep cliffs on the island walls make this island look exotic. Visitors to Goat Island can also enjoy the panoramic beauty of Goat Island by climbing the steep cliffs. Visitors will see a different side of beauty when on top of this cliff. Snorkeling locations are usually near cliffs with not too deep depths. The view below is magnificent, more colorful but the currents are strong enough that divers often drift on the surface.

So visitors must be more careful when snorkeling at this spot because it is said that near the waters of Goat Island there is a kind of waterfall under the sea which causes fairly strong deep currents, so divers must be more careful because of the swift currents. For divers, Kambing Island is a favorite location, here there are several dive spots and it seems that this area is a shark area and it is possible that divers will encounter sharks around these waters.
