FOREIGN MERCHANT HARBOR TO TOURIST HARBOR
Tanjung Benoa is a glamorous beach on a beautiful island, Bali island. Its beauty, especially its beautiful beaches such as Tanjung Benoa is known by a lot of people, even tourists know the beauty. Previously, Tanjung Benoa was a fishing village and a port called Benoa used by Chinese traders to anchor in Bali. Usually, Chinese traders will sell ceramics and silk fabrics. In addition, they also buy merchandise from the native Balinese. Some Chinese residents chose to stay so there was a temple or monastery building, namely the Caow Eng Bio Vihara in Tanjung Benoa. Prior to the development of tourism in this area, the majority of Tanjung Benoa residents worked as fishermen. Furthermore, the area closest to Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua, was built in a luxury tourism area called BTDC which has now changed its name to ITDC. There are luxury hotels in the ITDC Nusa Dua area which have an impact on the Tanjung Benoa area. Of course, Tanjung Benoa beach which has white sand, calm sea water, and coconut trees and coconuts around makes Tanjung Benoa Beach not to be left behind with Nusa Dua in the development of tourism on the island of Bali.
TURTLE ISLAND
The Glass Bottom Boat located in Tanjung Benoa can take you to Turtle Island. Because you ride the Glass Bottom Boat, you can see firsthand the beauty of the underwater waters of Tanjung Benoa without having to swim. Apart from that, you can also feed the fish with bread. While on Turtle Island, you can see turtles from the size of hatchlings to adults. Another interesting thing is that you can touch and feed the turtles. Not only turtles, you can also interact with other animals such as parrots and snakes.
SEA EXPANSE OF TANJUNG BENOA
If you come to Bali, you must visit Tanjong Benoa Beach so you can try many marine sports. Parasailing, surfing, kite surfing, snorkeling, banana boating, flying fish, jet skiing, sea walking, and scuba diving are the marine sports you can try. With flying fish and parasailing, you can see the beautifulness of Tanjung Benoa from the sky. The expanse of the blue sea will make you amazed. Also, you can enjoy the scenery with your friends, like me who try it with Hanna. At first, you might be afraid but after a while, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery until you don't want to get off the parasailing. However, if you are afraid of heights, you can try a banana boat, which is equally thrilling. To enjoy the beauty under the sea, you can try snorkeling and sea walking.
