Molding minds shaping the future; one child at a time.
"Change is good"- Since the pandemic started in March 2019; I have explored a wide ranges of online tools that would and have enhnaced the teaching and learning experience within my virtual class. These online tools were not just all about teaching but also about ensuring that the students were engaged and kept wanting more.
The students were given the opportunity to collaborate, initiate and build friendships despite not being able to see each other physically. The apps used but not limited to were: Google Slides and Forms, Makebelief Comix, Kahoot, Quizziz, Seesaw, Zoom-breakout rooms and liveworksheets. Below are some of the apps mentioned and examples of how they were used in the virtual space.
This app allows the students to complete given task, answer questions or share ideas while viewing the teacher's screen. It also allows the teacher to give immediate feedback to individual students and also to see all the students' work at the same time.
