while cat's life has played out the same, her twin sister, ivy, endures a different life. and the two move through their experiences, wondering if the other is alive. wondering if they'll ever see each other again. a lot of this verse will be used to explore ivy more so than cat, so this page covers ivy more so. ivy will use blonde icons.

while cat's story is the same as her main verse, ivy's is a bit different though far simpler. being a bit of a quiet child ( not fearful, just too herself ), she didn't really go out and adventure or take to people quite as easily as sarah. though her twin is also an introvert, she knew how to balance extroverted tendencies. ivy didn't. so when sarah met and befriended scott, ivy was never there... and she never tried despite sarah's constant attempts to get her involved. instead, ivy was home, watching and listening in on their supposed parents. when she and sarah were abandoned, she wasn't quite so attached to amy and jon or hopeful of their affections. in fact, amy and jon had never met her...
she couldn't stop her twin from running off. ivy remained behind, waiting under the care of social services. there was a struggle of what to do with her. her father was alive... but in jail, her brother was already adopted elsewhere, her sister missing, and no knowledge from amy and jon that she existed. ivy could hear the adults discussing it, yet, she could do nothing... and now she couldn't even be sure her sister was alive.
ivy has since been placed into foster care, and she's gone from house to house. she doesn't own much, never planning any place to be permanent. she has little interest, little care, and feels like a ghost of herself. she dyed her hair to stop seeing sarah in the mirror, but now she's come to realize she doesn't recognize who she is anymore. she's not sure she was ever somebody to begin with.
still exploring ivy and will update once i know more her. some initial thoughts:
introverted, quiet, often seeming lost in thought
poor self confidence, lacking motivation
naturally atheltic and plays tennis sometimes
hidden anger, actually tends to get into fights despite her outward nature and behavior
considered a troublemaker simply because she doesn't do her work without encouragement
Physicality/Appearance:
ivy is identical to cat except she's dyed her hair to avoid seeing her twin when she looks in the mirror. she's healthier overall, so less gaunt, and has grown a few inches taller, making it to 5'2" in the end. not in the best of shape due to the foster system causing her problems at times. more will be added if learned/needed!
