fair enough for flowers

sarah's parents were king and queen of a kingdom known as fayvendelle. her father was a despised king by his people and other kingdoms alike.  a manipulator, he tricked and aided other kingdoms in efforts to stir wars and turn the tides in the favor of whatever would most benefit his crown, even if his own people suffered.  it was difficult to pin the blame on him, however, so hatred of him was discussed silently and in secret.  there was, however, a coup in the works.
sarah would spend most of her time hiding in the gardens with her mother.  but as cadence secretly provided information to those planning the coup of her husband, she was caught by jason and sentenced to death for treason.  with her mother killed, sarah fled at only ten years old, fearing for her own life.  however, a band of thieves got a hold of her.  they made a deal of promising to protect her from her father in exchange for her working alongside them.  princess sarah became a criminal over the years with them.
back in her kingdom, her brother alister would gain the power and strength to lead the coup, overtaking his father and becoming the new king.  bringing fayvendelle into a brighter future, one sarah isn't sure she can return to. 

• before she fled, sarah was known as the flower princess because she would spend so much of her time in the royal gardens as a child. even when older and returned to her kingdom, she's often amongst the beautiful plants she tends to

• when she's returned to the kingdom or to any kingdom, sarah is often given strange herbal remedies that doctors and such claim will heal her of the voices and such in her head. she tells no one but the doctors about her mental struggles

• in situations where she's still on the streets, she's often wearing men's clothing for the sake of mobility when stealing. however, the rare occasions she washes her hair and skin, she might put on a dress or skirt so as to slip in amongst those of higher class. there, she can steal their jewelry or coin
