Julian Alfred Pankratz “Jaskier” is a graduate of Oxenfurt University after studying seven liberal arts and later became a professor for a year before committing to travelling on the road as a Bard where he met Geralt of Rivia and became his close friend. He is of noble birth and is also known as the Viscount de Lettenhove. Though this is never what he wanted and ran away not long after graduating and deciding teaching also wasn't for him.
