"You do know that I worship the elven Gods?"

Filavandrel is a Proud and Stubborn Dalish Elf Hunter of Clan Lavellan who originally would show a large suspicion for Shemlen and will originally claim that he only cares for his own kind. He shows otherwise when he is roped into the Inquisition. In reality, he is determined to do what is right and that is to protect as many lives as he can. As a result of this, he agrees to help the cause (either as a companion or as Inquisitor which is my primary verse for him).

At first, he is actually quite sheltered in the treatment of other elves but is appalled when he learns of it and will not tolerate anyone speaking ill or derogatory of it. To Filavandrel an elf is an elf and he wants to protect all of them.

He also has a very pleasing singing voice and can play the lute but doesn't get much opportunity to play. He knows all of the old songs and stories of his people and is very proud of that fact.
