Filavandrel aén Fidháil was born in the influential elven family called Feleaorns of the White Ships. When Aedirn conquered Dol Blathanna he was forced to escape into the mountains, where he became the leader of Free Elves.
Initally reluctant in his leading he took on the role as his people had no one else to turn to. He is devoted to his people and will do anything to protect them. After a failed uprising on Cintra he relinquished power to Francesca Findabair and instead became her advisor and consort for political reasons.
