Jaskier

Julian Alfred Pankratz “Jaskier” is a Circle Mage from Ferelden who largely specialises in necromancy magic and spirit magic. His family on his mother Felicity's side hails from Orlais which Jaskier always preferred to Ferelden and had he not been born a mage he fancied himself a Bard - he was fascinated by the tales and the game that Orlesian's played and was actually very good at it too. Jaskier found the circle rather dull which led to the fascination with Bards. In addition to his affinity with magic, Jaskier has a beautiful singing voice and dabbles with the lute when he has time. When the circles rebelled, Jaskier took this as an opportunity to reinvent himself but the explosion at the conclave and his subsequent imprisonment exposed him as a mage and there was no going back from there.

After the conclave, Jaskier agreed to help Cassandra and the others with their Inquisition efforts, due to the mark on his hand being able to close the rifts. While reluctant to be a leader, he fills into the role well enough - being fair and just at every opportunity he could.
