"Let's show them what real art is!"

Callonetta is a Tiefling raised in a small settlement in Cormyr before she moved to the capital Suzail when she grew older. Feeling out of place amongst such a sea of people and being a Tiefling. She ended up at the Temple of Oghma and joined the Order not long after. She soon went up the ranks of the levels and eventually became one of Oghma's cleric's. She doesn't truly know or understand what Oghma's ultimate plan is for her but she is convinced he feels a fondness for her and allows him to guide her when she feels at a loss.

One of those occasions was years later after becoming a cleric when a travelling performance troupe came into the City and she felt this strong pull to approach them after seeing them perform. Whilst she had always been quite musically and artistically inclined, she had never considered a life of performing before but she felt an encouragement from Oghma that this was the path he wished her to take. To spread knowledge, music and the arts across Faerun. So she did. Now as a Bard but still a Cleric. 

She was with her troupe in Baldur's Gate when the Mindflayers abducted her and infected her with the tadpole.
