Starsweepers
The largest of the Stardragons, Starsweepers live deep within tropical rainforests and lush jungles, building impressive temples that tower above their equally breathtaking cities.
While the jungles themselves provide Starsweepers with a never ending bounty of fruits and vegetables, they've mastered the hunt, travelling in packs to secure a kill. Because they are in no short supply of food, these festive dragons regularly hold celebrations to honor the gods, feasting, dancing and singing well into the night.
Tropical flowers such as orchids, birds of paradise and passion flowers are favoured among Starsweepers.
Rarity Trait Key: COMMON UNCOMMON RARE LEGENDARY
Starsweepers have several smaller lifegems, with one on the back of each hand, and a slightly larger gem on their foreheads. Some Starsweepers even have a third lifegem at the tip of their tail. Males, more combat ready, have large ridged horns and large stingers filled with a potent and fast acting paralytic venom. Though rarely fatal, Sweepers use their stingers for both attack and defense.
Wings:
Though few and far between, legend speaks of Starsweepers who can take to the skies on a set of elegant dragonfly wings.
Can be substituted with standard angelic wings
Collars & Crests: Sweepers pride themselves on being rather fancy, and their plumage grows to flash their colours openly. They enjoy strutting for the favour of potential mates. Depicted Common; Poofy, Collar, Fancy, Crest, Large Crest and Uncommon Showbird
Hip Plumage: Their hips are covered in long ornate feathers, usually with a shorter set overlapping the main plumage. Daily preening is required to retain their shape and luster. A rare few aren't bugged with the need to do so. Common Standard, Fanned. Uncommon Coat Tails. Rare Double Plume, Dragonfly
Feathers
The arms and legs of Sweepers are typically covered in feathers.
While some sport shorter 'gloves' that just cover the hands, others have quills that reach as far up as their shoulders.
Ponchos Like their Stareater brethren, some Starsweepers grow feathered 'ponchos' around their necks and shouldes. The ponchos are feathered while Stareater ponchos are furred. Both are considered luxury fashion items for Starshooters. Depicted: Uncommon Rounded, Over Shoulder. Rare Fancy, Dragonfly
Tails: Common: Penguin, Raptor, Full Fringe, Smooth, Tip Frill Uncommon: Plumed
Phoenix:
With beautiful feathers that shimmer in the sunlight, these mythical Starsweepers are said to be born of flame, blessing those around them with good fortune and longevity.
