Stareaters were the first species of the 8 original. They typically sport one or two sets of horns, a gem on the chest and large grabby hands. The fluffy in nature but may be seen with scales.

Stareater
Said to be the ancestors of all the Stardragon races, Stareaters are, without a doubt, the most abundant. Peaceful and prosperous, these social dragons settle in large villages and, when on the move, travel in sizable groups.
Though their ancestors paved the way for the other seven races, quickly evolving and adapting to each new environment, Stareaters themselves have remined relatively unchanged throughout the years. While they are fairly susceptible to mutation, one would be hard pressed to find a Stareater that stray far from the original design.
Stareaters adorn their hair with wildflowers such as philos, poppy, foxglove & cosmos.
Trait Rarity Key COMMON UNCOMMON RARE LEGENDARY
Feet have three toes and a dewclaw, Hipfluff is present on both males and females. Female Stareaters have two sets of horns that curve back, and around. Males, on the other hand, have a single set of horns that spiral upwards. Stareaters also have large furry ears.
Wings LEGENDARY
The first Stardragons to ever take flight. Legend says the gods blessed their most loyal followes, granting them floral wings so that they may fly with the makers themselves.
Fur Growth; Given that Stareaters have adapted over time to live in any environment, their fur ranges from short and fine in warmer climates, to thicker and denser in cooler regions. Examples: Short, Tuft, Fullmane, Bare, Single Finge and Double Fringe
Horn Variations: Stareater horns may vary depending on the environmental needs and genetics, but generall all follow a spiralling pattern. Very rarely, a Stareater will be born with horns that resemble those of the Eater's patron God, Hylcinth. These Stardragons are considered Blessed omens that the Sun Mother still watches over them.
Fur Ponchos
Like their Starsweeper bretheren, some Stareaters grow furred ponchos around their necks and shoulders. The Eater ponchos are furred while the Sweeper ponchos are feathered. Both are considered luxury fashion items for shooters. Example; Uncommon Short, Medium Rare Extra Long
Claws; While Stareaters are generally a peaceful race, they are not to be taken lightly. Their powerful claws can hit with tremendous strength. A single swipe can dispatch most foes. Examples; Common Standard, Claw, Paw, Uncommon Knuckles, Wolverine, Rare Winged
Tails: A trait exclusive to males, Stareater tails are typically very long and covered in fur. Shorter variations exist and, what they lack in length they make up for, in volume. Examples: Common Standard Long, Bushy, Uncommon Pom and Curled, Rare Dragon
Second Coat: While female Stareaters do not have trails, their fur will occasionally grow in luxuriouc, coat-line patterns that flare out at the hip. Some Stareaters even have elegent coats that are long enough to reach the ground. Common Smooth, Thick Coat, Uncommon Short, Medium Tailcoats, Rare Long Tailcoats
Gender neutral nubbins. Though only male Stareaters grow tails, those individuals who fall towards the middle of the sex spectrum have been known to grow little tails.
Examples; Nubbin, Bushy Nubbin, Droopy Nubbin
Scalebellies; Being one of the first Stardragon species created, the Stareaters were given many aspects that resembled the Gods. Horns, tail, and even their smooth scaley bellies.
Druidic: Inspired by the life her children had brought to the world of Jo'Arca. Hylcinth bestowed upon a select few Eaters the same natural beauty that had brought her such joy. Example: Wood Druid
Petal Back: Luch flowers and other floral blooms can be seen growing out of their backs.
