Washokani Camp

Washokani camp is located in Hasakeh governorate, Hasakeh sub-district, and hosts approximately 16,500 individuals (2,400 households). The camp was established in late 2019, hosting IDPs displaced by Operation Peace Spring in October 2019. The camp is over capacity with a large IDP population being hosted with the camp by other IDP households. 

Occasionally new arrivals are moved into the camp from collective centres which are closed by Authorities in nearby Hasakeh City.

The camp has a static camp management presence and a camp administration.
