Serekaniye Camp

Serekaniye camp is located in Hasakeh governorate, Hasakeh sub-district, and hosts approximately 15,900 individuals (2,600 households). The camp was established in 2020 and its residents are primarily IDPs displaced by Operation Peace Spring in October 2019. The camp continues to recieve new arrivals from populations displaced by ongoing conflict at frontlines or from collective centres in nearby Hasakeh City. 

The camp has had one expansion which opened in December 2021 to host families displaced by an escalation along Operation Peace Spring frontlines. 

The camp has a static NGO Camp Management presence and a Camp Administration.
