Objective: The discussion aims to explore the constitutional, political, and social factors behind the 1975 Emergency in India, its impact on democracy, civil rights, media, and opposition. It encourages critical thinking on leadership decisions, public response, and highlights the importance of protecting democratic values to prevent future misuse of constitutional powers.
