Co-Curricular 

An expert session on “Physical Fitness Awareness” was organized by Automobile Engineering Department, Dr. S. & S. S. Ghandhy College of Engineering and Technology, Surat, to promote the importance of physical health, fitness, and overall well-being among participants. The session aimed to educate the students about the role of regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits in maintaining physical fitness.

• No of Beneficiaries: students of 3rd semester and 1st semester.

A significant highlight of the workshop was the seamless integration of theoretical sessions in the Seminar Hall with practical, hands-on activities conducted in the Automobile Workshop. 

An event encouraging auto service sector titled Rapid Rim Rally organized by Automobile Engineering Department in tech Vardhanam 2023.

              A challenge to change the vehicle tyre with proper tools following standard procedure and safety precautions in minimal time was assigned to participants.Though tyre change often seemed to be menial task, but for layman and many others on roads it creates lot of trouble during unexpected incidents. For people associated with auto sector, to change tyre with standard procedure and safety procedure in quick duration makes the event very challenging and of keen interest.

The Automobile Department organized a Road Safety Awareness Program in collaboration with an expert from Shreenath Kia, Surat aimed at educating students and attendees about the importance of safe driving practices and creating awareness about road safety measures. Mr. Pratik bakre (AGM After Sales) from Shreenath Kia delivered an insightful presentation on key aspects of road safety like importance of traffic rules, defensive driving techniques, vehicle maintenance, impact of drunk driving and over-speeding with real-life examples were shared to emphasize the dangers of negligent behavior. Mr.Ravi Sharma (GM- Shreenath KIA) motivates students to practise safe driving habits and follow the traffic rules.
