Automation & Robotics Engineering Department established in 2022, is one of the emerging course started in Dr. S. & S. S. Ghandhy College of Engineering and Technology, Surat.by Department of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat and is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmadabad. Diploma Automation & Robotics Engineering program is approved by All India council for technical education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Automation & Robotics Engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with maintenance, operating, repair and diagnosis of automation systems and robotics. It includes mechanical, electronic, instrumentation, control systems, software for incorporating the idea of process automation and Robotic systems according to Industry 4.0. The department has well qualified faculty members engaged in teaching learning process with the aim of achieving excellence in the field of Automation & Robotics engineering.

03 years full time course, six semesters.

10th Standard Pass ( 1st Sem. Entry)
Certificate course of duration 2 years from TEB /NCVT/GCVT/IGTR (3rd Sem. Entry)

Each year after completing Diploma in Automation & Robotics many students join the Bachelor of Engineering course and some of the students are placed in companies.
