Every year, the Foster, Leongatha, Wonthaggi and Inverloch Circle Dancing groups get together as one big group and join in the worldwide celebration of Circle Dancing. This is an event that happens all over the world on the same day in July (or very close to the same day) and has been celebrated for many years. There is unity between the world’s circle dancers no matter what time they actually dance.

Dances of Connection
Every year 3 specific dances are selected that are designed to be danced in every gathering all over the world.
Every year 3 specific dances are selected that are designed to be danced in every gathering all over the world.
Generally, there are 3 themes for the dances of connection: a favourite from Findhorn, a traditional dance, and a modern choreography. In a group of people from Findhorn and beyond, different dances are discussed and chosen for a pertinent theme, degree of easiness, a certain je ne sais quoi, and other factors. The modern choreography is chosen to represent as many different countries as possible over the years and is often a well-known dance.
