This Macedonian dance and song is about people dancing near a monestery - boys, girls and young brides. Some versions of this dance include a black monk with a black beard, who disrobes and joins the dancers. However, the following translation of the song, found on a Macedonian Songs website, www.pesna.org , was chosen as it describes the dance version we learn - minus the black monk.
