Fado  Portuguese  De  Nos

Portugal

Choreographer: Mariza

Fado is a form of Portuguese singing which is often associated with pubs, cafes and restaurants. It officially originated in Portugal around 200 years ago but it is thought to have earlier origins.

Fado songs can be about anything but they are often mournful and very melancholic. This one is an exception being bright and lively.

The dance was introduced to line dancers by Ira Weisburd in 2015.

There are other versions but this version matches the notations.
