Sonic is a blue Mobian African pygmy hedgehog with sharp quills, green eyes and tan skin. He wears a red leotard with green and gold armor and his signature Zone Cop helmet.

Unlike his Prime-Zone counterpart, Zonic is serious about his job and is more mature as well. He possesses a sense of humor like Sonic, but it is rarely shown.
