Bearanger is a fat Mobian sloth bear with fancy shoes.

Bearanger is short-tempered, impatient, and has a habit of using minced oaths, such as “Rassa-frassin", “Garsarnit”, and “Galsarn”. In spite of this, he is the hardest working of the Witchcarters, as he puts in the most effort to catch the Flickies, is the only one of the three to try to attack Sonic once he comes running in, and openly chides his coworkers for being "useless".
