Srivijayan artisans made beautiful religious statues with a lot of details. Their art, like that of the Dvaravati people, was influenced by India. It also drew influence from Java, Khmer, and the Dvaravati civilization. Their buddha images often had a circular halo behind its head, and sometimes had animals incorporated into the statues. They were also known for making images of bodhisattvas like Guan Yin, as well as statues of Indian deities like Ganesha.
