Like religion and architecture in Lavo, their culture was a mix of Mon and Khmer cultures. Their music, instruments, and dance styles, as well as their clothing, were probably a composite (mixture) of these two cultures. For instance, know from archaeological finds and from studying scenes depicted in reliefs that the people of Lavo played a variety of instruments, such as Khmer style bells and symbols, as well as the lute, oboe, and flute.
