The scroll down list for "Hours" ends at six hours. If you worked more than that for a day, you need to select "Custom Hours"

Then, scroll down to the box to enter your hours as a decimal number. Note that hours are rounded to the half-hour.

Finally, click on submit to have your hours recorded.
