The access points and equipment for the phone, WiFi and printer are in the pumphouse in the private office which is typically locked. If you need access, most Board members and coordinators have a key. In the Potting Shed, there is a WiFi access point, a computer, a Sonos speaker and the PoS terminal.

• If the WiFi is not working or in inaccessible, follow these instructions to restart the WiFi equipment.

• The printer is connected to PH Office Point. The Sonos speakers and TV are connected to SMAS Guest.

Multi-function Printer

There is an HP MFP M283fdw in the locked office in the pumphouse. There are various ways to access this printer.

• Email: send an email to smasPHprinter@hpeprint.com with the document you want printed as an attachment. The supported document types are: text, PDF, HTML files, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, image files (bmp, gif, jpg, png, tiff). You may attach multiple documents. However, the total size of all attachments cannot exceed 5MB.

• Apple products: use AirPrint from iPhone, iPad, iPod touch (see instructions at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201387).

• Windows PC in potting shed: select print from any application and the default printer should appear as HP Color Laserjet MFP M283fdw). Use this printer.

• Android phones: these require a printer app to be installed on your phone. An easy-to-use app is HP Smart. Note that it requires registration which may be an issue for some.

Windows PC in Potting Shed

There is an small Microsoft Windows 10 computer in the Potting Shed. It has limited memory but is just fine for browsing the internet. Follow these instructions to use the computer. The computer has the Sonos application installed which can be used to play music or the radio on the Sonos speaker in the PoS cabinet.

Sonos Speakers

There is a Sonos One speaker in the potting shed, another Sonos One in the pumphouse and a Sonos speaker attached to the TV in the pumphouse. All the speakers can be controlled by the Sonos app that can be installed on your phone or computer. The speakers are all connected to the SMAS Guest network.
