Timesheet Instructions

The timesheet is optimized for the most common usage which is entering your hours for the current day (but only up to six hours). In this case, only three mouse clicks are needed to enter your hours. If you worked longer than six hours, an additional step is needed. If your hours are for a previous day, an additional step is needed. If you are a new volunteer who is not yet in the system, an additional step is needed. The instructions below go through these various cases.

• Most common: known volunteer, current day, less than six hours

• Hard-core volunteer: worked more than six hours

• Slacker on data entry: enter hours for a previous day

• Welcome to SMAS: new volunteer, let's get your name
