Accumulator N2 Charging

AMM Ref: 12-14-29

Consumables: As per AMM

1) CFC & Rag pieces

2) Teflon tape

3) Soapy water.

Tools:

1) N2 Adapter # qty-02

2) Adjustable wrench # 10"

3) MLG door safety pins

4) Spanners # 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4

Support Equipments:

1) N2 Trolley- HP (High pressure)

Precautions/Tricks: As per AMM

1) Ensure N2 Cylinder has sufficient pressure ( min 2000 psi).

2) Make sure all connections are correct & tight.

3) Two qualified person are needed for this job.

4) First one will set N2 Cylinder pressure at 2000 psi, and increase pressure gradually by pr. regulator.

5) After that 2nd person will gradually open check nut of Accumulator charging valve , when desired pr. reached, tight the check valve.

6) Release pr. by regulator then close pr. of N2 cylinder.

7) Remove N2 Adapter, lines and do leak check, make sure no leakage from N2 charging valve.

8) For easy charging of Blue system, only N2 Adapter connect with charging valve after that N2 pr.hose and do all other things.
