The SimDemocracy Reconnaissance Agency (SDRA) is an agency that gathers information that is classified, and investigates threats to SimDemocracy. It is run by the Director of Reconnaissance and the Security Council (SCO).
The SDRA is a very serious organisation. It has protected SimDemocracy from doxxers, raiders and other hostile elements in the past. As a result, it is considered difficult to get in, though no one knows who SDRA operatives are.
§1. The Reconnaissance Agency (RA) shall be an executive body whose primary purpose is handling and gathering information that is not in the public domain.
§1.1 Operatives and Informants will not be considered members of the Executive.
§2 Operatives and Informants will be assigned together as duos, with the Operative leading the duo.
§2.1 Duo’s will work together on missions.
§3. Operatives will submit reports to the Security Council.
§3.1 Reports will be compiled together by SCO.
§3.2 The Director of Reconnaissance will direct Operatives based on the recommendations of SCO.
§3.3 The President is to be informed of the activities of all Operatives.
§4. All SCO members will know the identity of all Operatives.
§5. The Director of Reconnaissance may recruit and dismiss Operatives, and manage the day-to-day functions of the Reconnaissance Branch.
§7. The Deputy Director of Reconnaissance shall assume the duties of the Director of Reconnaissance whenever the Director of Reconnaissance is unavailable.
§8. The Director of Reconnaissance and Deputy Director of Reconnaissance’s first and most important responsibility is to ensure Operatives avoid IRL harm.
§9. If a member of the SDRA is given an order they feel compromises the IRL safety of themselves or another individual or group of people, this must be reported to the Oversight Council.
§10. The Security Department will have no interaction with organisations linked to or suspected to be linked to terrorist groups, unless this interaction happens inside of simdem.
§11. Officials may privately block other users that are not related to their cases.
§1. Operatives are to operate anonymously in gathering sensitive and important information regarding SimDemocracy and potential threats to SimDemocracy.
§1.1 Operatives must have alt accounts and use the alt accounts when necessary to prevent harm to themselves, especially on missions to other servers.
§1.2 Operatives must still abide by the laws of SimDemocracy on the alt accounts while in the jurisdiction of SimDemocracy.
§2. The Director of Reconnaissance must keep a record of all Operatives and Informants, known as the Operative Logs. The records are to include all information on the SDRA members activities in their capacity as a member of the SDRA, and all relevant information outside of the SDRA regarding the Operatives and Informants.
§3. The Director of Reconnaissance is to keep a record of all missions, known as mission logs.
§4. Operative and Mission Logs, as well as all decisions in the SDRA, are to be presented to the SCO and Oversight Council.
