The Department of Archives(DoAr) logs all important historical data to ensure the Democracy and Simulation is preserved. They also track things such as Senate Votes, this improves accountability as citizens can see Senator voting patterns. It also helps those who like to view such data. They are led by the Head of Archives (HoAr).
There are 3 main sections of the DoAr, called branches. These are: the Wiki Branch, the Documentation Branch, and the Records Branch.
Wiki branch
This branch controls and oversees the sub's wiki. Basically they edit, update and add any resources that are useful to the wiki.
Documentation Branch
They oversee the archiving of the reddit posts made on the sub. They are supposed to release an archive of the following month every month, however are currently behind schedule as they are focusing on the earlier months first.
Records Branch
The records branch oversees the recording of the records. There are currently 4 main jobs there, the Public Records Keeper (PRK), the Senate Records Keeper (SRK), the Courts Records Keeper (CRK), and the Officials Records Keeper (ORK). The PRK records is responsible for recording all official public votes, for example presidential elections, senatorial elections and referendums. The SRK is responsible for recording all senate votes and how each senator voted. The CRK is responsible for recording all trials, including the judges verdict, opinion and general information regarding the trial. The Courts Records Keeper is also responsible of keeping an archive of all arrest warrants given out by the Judiciary. The ORK is responsible for recording all government officials, past and present.
For more info or to get employed by one of these branches contact the respective leader of each branch or the HoAr.
