Vice-Presidency

The Vice-President is chosen by the President prior to their election and requires no outside approval.
The Vice-President breaks any ties that may occur in the Senate.
The Vice-President also gives Senate seats to citizens of his choosing if the Senator that previously held that seat vacates it for whatever reason.
- However, the candidate the Vice-President chose must pass a majority approval by the Citizens.

Article 5 of the Constitution

Article 5 – The Vice President

§1. The Vice President shall be appointed by the President to that office for the latter's term, without a confirmation vote by the Senate.

§2. The Vice President shall succeed the President in the event that the latter cannot complete their term.

§3. Ties in the Senate shall be resolved by the Vice President.

§4. The Vice President is to be the fourth Moderator of r/SimDemocracy with full permissions at all times during their term.

§5. In the event of a senator vacancy, the Vice President shall appoint a replacement, who will then be subject to a twenty four (24) hours referendum and must achieve a simple majority of the voting population to hold the seat.

§6. The Vice President may occupy an additional Executive Office, unless otherwise specified in the legislation regarding the Office in question.
